Our finest package featuring our best food and equipment and two nights at Moose Bay Lodge with meals. This guided trip takes you into the Canadian backcountry of Basswood Lake. Our shuttle boat leaves you within an easy paddle to your camp. No portaging is required. Here you will catch Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Lake Trout, and big Northern Pike. You will travel in the comfort of original Moose Bay 20 ft. guide canoes with cane seats and back rests. You'll camp right where the fishing is best and sleep under the stars. You'll enjoy tables, chairs, comfortable thick sleeping pads, roomy sleeping bags, bonfires, and fine camp cuisine, all in a pure wilderness setting. Here is truly remote fishing with all the comforts of home.

For those of you with a more adventuresome spirit our Guided Backcountry Canoe Fishing Trip may be what you are looking for. Solitude, fishing remote lakes that only see a handful of anglers every summer, and that good feeling of knowing you have earned that trophy smallmouth you just released are just a few of the rewards that taking a few portages will bring. Having a guide who knows how to pack, and what to bring, make these trips do-able no matter what your paddling experience. We outfit you with our Kevlar "superlite" outfitting package that make even the toughest portages a breeze. If you are really looking to get away and leave the crowds behind this is a must trip!

Guided Lodge Package
We provide all of the first class comforts and great food, so if you don't just have the time or feel up to camping, we can accommodate you. This guided 3-day, 4-night lodge package includes all your meals at Moose Bay Lodge, big 18-foot boats, 25hp motors, canoes, gas, bait, guide, and your own private cabin and bath.
You will return to the comfort of the lodge every evening. You have great options to fish over 20 different lakes. Enjoy light tackle and flyfishing for Smallmouth bass, Largemouth bass, Northern pike, Walleye, Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout, Brook Trout, and Panfish.
Rates are based on one guide per group. Additional guides and boats are available.
