By providing you with our round trip motor boat shuttle service we easily save you as much as three days of paddling. You will enjoy two nights at Moose Bay Lodge which includes breakfast and dinner, fresh linens, towels, and hot showers. Of course lots of live bait, our own delicious trail food, state-of-the-art equipment, cooking stoves, maps, routing, and unparalleled fishing instruction are included.

Deluxe Basswood Package (unguided)       per person 5 full days $736

You'll enjoy two nights at Moose Bay Lodge with meals and the same great food and comfortable camp as our deluxe guided trip, without the guide. Our shuttle boat leaves you within an easy paddle to your camp. No portaging is required. Everything fits neatly into a fast 18 foot canoe with built in back rests. You can fish in comfort with the speed to cover more remote fishing areas easily.

Our most popular unguided trip. The Trek to Crooked Lake penetrates deep into the wilderness. We outfit you with trail proven gear and our own lightweight food pack.  You'll enjoy two nights at The Moose Bay Lodge with meals and the convenience of our longest Basswood Tow to Back Bay. You will receive detailed fishing instruction and trip route planning with Moose Bay's enlarged map of the Basswood River portage short cuts. This is a great adventure at a reasonable price to some of the finest smallmouth waters on Earth!

17 foot lightweight aluminum canoe with back rests, bent or straight shaft paddles. 5 Day Wilderness Canoe Trip (unguided) per person, 5 full days $539

Here's a great introduction to our Boundary Waters adventure. Without taking a guide this trip lets you fish some of our close-in waters without traveling over a lot of portages. You can reach Basswood and Knife Lake or several other more remote lakes. There's good smallmouth, walleye and northern pike fishing to be had too. Select from a base camp or circle route. We include detailed maps and routing, two nights at The Moose Bay Lodge with meals and a tow to Prairie Portage.
